QUALIFYING BIKES
This Club represents a certain type of rider.
Our members own and ride classic British and retro-styled British bikes
leaning toward the retro cafe style bikes, and also the classic lines
of the British Rocker bikes of the 50's and 60's.
Qualifying vintage bikes include Triumph,
Norton, BSA, Matchless, Ariel, Royal Enfield, Vellocete, Vincent, etc.
Modern Brit bikes must fall squarely under the
“classic” or “retro-styled” categories. For example, the modern Triumph
Bonneville T-100, Thruxton, Scramber, the new Nortons, new Royal
Enfields, and CNW Nortons qualify, while the modern Triumph Daytona,
Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger, Sprint, America, Thunderbird, or
Rocket III will not qualify -- unless of course you’ve managed to
transform them into retro-styled cafe racers. “What about
choppers?” Do you need to ask? Okay, a good Rockabilly-style Brit
bobber is always nice...
To inquire about another modern British model not mentioned here, you
can contact us,
but don’t test our patience: NO cruisers. NO modern sport bikes. NO
exceptions, so if that’s all you’ve got, don’t even ask.
